A new shopping mall is being built close by in La Zenia, this mall will be one of the largest in Europe and will attract a lot of visitors. The opening date for this is November 2012. Corvera International airport is now finished and will be fully operational by winter 2012. The airport is only a 30 minute drive away and allows International tourists to come to the area directly, rather than using domestic European flights. There is also Europe’s second largest theme park being built within a 40 minute drive. Paramount resort theme park, Murcia. It is estimated that the Theme park will bring an extra 3 million visitors to the area annually once it opens in Easter 2015.
